Dr. Dominic G. Carlson

If it is personalized treatment and one-on-one attention that you want from a dentist near East Bakersfield, you’ll be pleased to know that Dr. Carlson can provide all of that and much more. His goal to exceed patient expectations is something he aspires to achieve every day, and it is evident from the countless patients who continue to entrust him with their smile.

This drive to help others began in high school when a family friend discussed the benefits of working in dentistry. Sparking an interest in the field, he decided to become an assistant to a dentist who is now his father-in-law. Recognizing it was the perfect career to pursue, he completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Nevada in Reno before achieving his dental doctorate at Creighton University.

Outside of his formal educational pursuits, he has received additional training in oral sedation and is currently working on completing a 300+ hour course that is focused on dental implants.

Outside the office, Dr. Carlson spends much of his time with his wife Annie whom he married in 2019. You’ll often find him going to the beach, playing basketball and golf, watching sports, and attending BBQs with his family and friends.

As always having a fear of medical and dental institutions, I had a wonderful experience. The staff was amazing and Dr. Carlson so understanding. So fortunate to have found such a caring staff and Doctor.
